  • Ana R. Cañil

    Ana Ramírez Cañil is a journalist. She was born in Madrid 52 years ago but comes from Rascafría. At 19 she began as an economic journalist, a mere job becoming a passion when she crossed this with politics. After a few months at El Alcázar, she worked for Cinco Días, the magazine Mercado (cradle of a generation of economic journalists) and La Gaceta de Negocios in its early days. From 1984-5 she lived in New York.

  • Ana Ripoll

    Ana Ripoll (Madrid, 1971) is a graduate of Media Studies. She has worked in various print media, and is currently developing her career in a communications consultancy. With a vocation for writing from an early age, she published her first nove,l 'El mundo de las sombras', in 2010, and the second, 'La reina azul',  in 2011, these being the first two volumes of her trilogy entitled 'Los Incorpóreos'.

This was followed by "Das últimas mareas" ("The Last Tides", 1994), "Arden" ("Burning", 1998) and "Love me Tender" (2006). She has set up and taken part in many artistic projects, including "Son Delas", "Lob*s" ("Wolves"), "Estalactitas" ("Stalactites"), "Catro poetas suicidas. Intervención poetica contra a levidade" (Four Suicidal Poets.

    Ander Izaguirre (San Sebastián, 1976) is a journalist and writer. He has published reports and articles in media such as National Geographic, Aire Libre, Barrabés, Berria and El Diario Vasco. Between 2000 and 2001, he participated in the expedition “Pangea, viaje al fondo de los continentes”, which along nine months travelled to the deepest depressions of each continent. From that trip came the book “Los sótanos del mundo” (Elea, 2005).
