José Mª Carpintero, a technical engineer, has always had links with the world of teaching. He had the idea for a simulated soldering iron for teaching purposes: Soldamatic 100. In recent years he has collaborated with Seaberry Solutions to turn his idea into a multimedia tool.

He is project co-ordinator of the National Climate Plan, expert researcher of the UNESCO International Conference on Mediterranean Regions and has thirty years of recognised research to his credit. He has headed numerous public and private projects in the area of applied climatology and directed university courses on climate and water resources.
