A hidden chapter of history. A kaleidoscope of human emotions. In the Galician village of A Estrada, against the turbulent background of the uprisings in the cantons at the end of the 19th century, an affectionate relationship develops between a triangle of women– a girl, her teacher and a brave woman – and around them an inquisitorial plot. The spinning women are a threat to the interests of the industry and ruling powers, which seek to subdue them.
