Gemma Lienas

Gemma Lienas (Barcelona, 1951) is a Catalan writer, speaker and feminist. For fifteen years she has been executive editor at a number of publishers. Before that, she was also a language and literature teacher for twelve years and delivered postgraduate courses on editorial technique and narrative structure at the University of Barcelona. Gemma Lienas's best endorsement are the nearly 100 books she has published for adults, young people and children, which have met with approval from with critics and, above all, the reading public. She has received various national awards and the internationally recognised Honourable Mention from IBBY.
