Manuel Rivas
Manuel Rivas (A Coruña, 1957) writesoriginally in Galician and has been awarded the Premio Nacional de Narrativa and the Premio de Critica for El lapíz del carpintero (The Carpenter's Pencil). He is the most outstanding voice in present day Galician literature.
