María del Mar Rodríguez Pérez

María del Mar Rodríguez was born in Caracas in 1961. Her parents were from La Palma, and emigrated to Venezuela but returned to La Palma after two years, where their daughter grew up. She went to the Villa de Mazo and the Santa Cruz de La Palma schools, and took her degree in psychology and pedagogy. She has dedicated her professional life to education at all stages, and currently works as an advisor at Las Veredillas secondary school in Tenerife.
