Míriam Raventós / Maria Girón

Míriam Raventós: I was born in Barcelona in 1964. I had to grow up before I could get interested in yoga and I was over thirty when I began my training as an instructor. Since then, yoga has always been my companion, helping me to live a simple and beautiful life. But should you have to grow up to discover yoga? No, I don't think so: that's why I've written this story. I work in various areas, some of them related to yoga, such as running Proyoga, the studio founded by my mother in 1985. Maria Girón: I was born in Barcelona in 1983 and I grew up in Garrotxa (a region in Gerona). I studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Barcelona University. In the fourth year I went to live in Bologna (Italy) where I discovered printmaking. I spent the following year at the University of Seville. Then I returned to Barcelona and studied Illustration at the Escola Llotja.
