is the Executive Director Children’s Publisher at BonnierZaffre. She has over twenty five years of experience in publishing, having worked at Unwin Hyman, HarperCollins, Walker Books, Quercus and since February 2015 at BonnierZaffre.  She has worked across sales, marketing, PR and publishing both within the UK and international markets across all genres of publishing including adult and children’s books. She now heads up Piccadilly Press and Hot Key Books two very distinct children’s imprints at BonnierZaffre, and is based at offices in Wimpole Street London. 

is a Senior Lecturer in Translation (Hispanic Studies) at Exeter University. He directs the MA Translation and researches translators’ decision-making processes and how texts are received in translation, focusing particularly on Catalan-speaking territories and the UK market. As well as extensive work as a translator of institutional and cultural documents from Spanish and Catalan, he has translated work from Catalan poets such as Blai Bonet and Miquel Costa i Llobera, and collaborated on two successful translations and productions of Shakespeare into Catalan. He has also been a judge for the Ramon Llull Prize for Literary Translation, and for the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize 2015.

is a writer, editor and translator with more than forty books to his name. His translations from Portuguese, Spanish and French include fiction from Europe, Africa and the Americas and non-fiction by writers ranging from Portuguese Nobel laureate José Saramago to Brazilian footballer Pelé. Recently published books include the new ´Oxford Companion to Children's Literature´ and a translation of an Angolan novel. A former chair of the Translators Association and the Society of Authors, his translation of The Book of Chameleons by José Eduardo Agualusa won the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize in 2007 and he was also shortlisted for the 2016 Man Booker International Prize for his translation of José Eduardo Agualusa ´A General Theory of Oblivion´.

They are involved in a year-round programme of events, from school author visits and literary festivals to book launches and in-store workshops. This year, Tales on Moon Lane is celebrating its 13th anniversary as one of London’s top bookshops.

is a fiction editor at Head of Zeus, an independent publishing house dedicated to beautiful books and great storytelling. She works on a range of titles from commercial thrillers to literary gems and has always enjoyed reading fiction in translation.

Hispanophile Gary McKeone is one of the two representatives nominated by BCLT who rotate to sit on the panel, so he knows the project well. He has worked in literature at London's South Bank Centre, with Field Day Theatre Company in Ireland and as Literature Director at Arts Council England. He has been a Board member of various literature organisations and currently works as Programme Director at St George’s House, Windsor Castle.
