  • Ferran Adrià

    Ferran Adrià (L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, 1962) is one of the most renowned chefs in the world. A year after starting work at El Bulli in 1983, he was named head chef. Since then, the restaurant in Cala Montjoi has distinguished itself for its culinary innovation, which has given rise to a significant number of new concepts, techniques and production processes that are now well-established in kitchens in Spain and abroad.

     

  • Ferran Martínez i Coma

    Ferrán Martínez i Coma (Barcelona, 1977) graduated in Political Science and Public Administration from the Universidad Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona in 1999. He got a scholarship from the Juan March Foundation, of which he is a Doctor member and received his Ph.D. in Sociology in 2005. He got scholarships from the Caja Madrid Foundation and the Fulbright Commission, in both cases to continue his predoctoral research at Harvard University.

  • Ferrán Soriano

    Born in Barcelona in 1967, Soriano is a businessman and consultant. He has a degree in Business Science and an MBA from ESADE, RPI (New York) and UCL (Belgium).
    He has thirty years of professional experience in the areas of consumables, telecommunications and entertainment. He has worked as a consultant, a manager and a businessman in over ten countries in Europe and the Americas, for companies such as The Mac Group, Gemine Consulting, Reckittbenckiser, Cluster, Belgacom, Telesp as well as others.

  • FLAVIA COMPANY

    Writer, journalist and translator. She was born in Buenos Aires on the 27th of September 1963. She has lived in Barcelona since 1973. Her work, which can be found in various anthologies, has been published in translation in France, the Netherlands, Brazil, Poland, Portugal, Italy and the United States. She has a degree in Spanish Literature and works as a translator, journalist, professor at the Escola d'Escriptura at the Ateneo Barcelonés and teaches Creative Writing (stories) on the Masters course in Creative Writing at the Universidad Pompeu Fabra.

  • Flavio Morais

    Flavio Morais (Brazil, 1954). He studied at Chelsea School of Art (London). He moved to Barcelona, where he worked for publishers, newspapers, magazines, advertising agencies, and the Estudio Peret. He participated in animation projects for TV and worked on the Olympic promotion for Barcelona '92. His artwork encompasses illustration, mural painting and installation sculpture. He has exhibited in Barcelona, Madrid, Bahía (Brazil), and in collective exhibitions in the US, Europe and Asia.

    Florencia Bonelli was born in Córdoba (Argentina) in 1971. Until recently she has written highly historically-accurate romantic novels always set before the 20th century, acquiring a loyal readership that follows her with each new book. Her appearances at book fairs are hugely popular, with thousands of people attending and signings lasting several hours. Bonelli is a serious, rigourous writer who knows what she is doing, and a great professional in the world of literature.

  • Florentino Sanz

    Florentino Sanz: a key figure in the field of adult education until his death in 2007, this book is his final legacy. Doctor of Educational Science, professor and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education at UNED (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia). Publications: El aprendizaje fuera de la escuela (2006) and La educación de personas adultas entre dos siglos (2002).
