  • Benito Cabo Guillermo

    Benito Cabo Guillermo (Avilés, Asturias, 1963) studied law at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and has worked as a specialist in private law from his office in the capital for 20 years. A general history enthusiast, he is particularly passionate about the convulsive period starting immediately after the First World War and ending in 1945. Interested in the less well-known topics from this crucial stage in humanity's history, he is a tireless researcher who loves to dive into the most remote aspects of history.

    Bernabé Tierno is a psychologist, educator and writer. He received the Medal of Honour on the 50th anniversary of Unicef (1996), the World Peace Prize for his work promoting human values (1997), the Aula Peace Prize, awarded by the Unesco-asscoiated school Aula de Paz Camín de Mieres, from the Principality of Asturias (2000), as well as the Spanish Association of Toy Manufacturers Prize (AEFJ) for his support and defence of toys (2005).

    Berta Vias Mahou was born in Madrid in 1961 and is an Ancient History graduate. She has translated Ödön von Horváth, Stefan Zweig, Arthur Schnitzler, Joseph Roth and Goethe, and among her work includes the novel Leo en la cama (Leo in the Bed, 1999), the essay La imagen de la mujer en la literatura (The Representation of Women in Literature, 2000), the collection of short stories Ladera norte (Northern Hillside, Acantilado, 2001) and the novel Los pozos de la nieve (Wells of Snow, Acantilado, 2008), which was critically judged to be one of the best novels of 2008.
